Introduction to household plastic products

Plastics are polymer compounds, commonly known as plastics or resins, which are polymerized by addition or condensation of monomers as raw materials. They can freely change their composition and shape. They are composed of synthetic resins, fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, colorants and other additives.

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)

General mineral water and carbonated beverage bottles are made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET).In 1946, the United Kingdom published the first patent for the preparation of PET. In 1949, the British ICI formula completed the pilot test, but after the United States DuPont Company purchased the patent, the production device was established in 1953, and the first industrial production was realized in the world.

1, oil resistance, fat resistance, enic acid, dilute alkali resistance, most solvents.

2, high transparency, light transmittance can be up to more than 90%, the packaged goods have a good display function.

3, has excellent low temperature resistance, can withstand -30℃ low temperature, in the range of -30℃-60℃ use.

4, gas and water vapor permeability is low, both excellent gas resistance, water, oil and peculiar smell performance.

5, high transparency, can block ultraviolet light, good luster.

Notes for use:

Beverage bottles can not be recycled with hot water, this material heat resistant to 70℃, high temperature will dissolve harmful substances, only suitable for warm drinks or frozen drinks, high temperature liquid or heating is easy to deform, there are harmful substances to the human body dissolved.
